Youth Development

Youth constitute more than 50% of India’s population. Young people need opportunities to improve their social and economic well being and to grow as responsible citizens. A number of youth from lower income areas lack the awareness needed for improving their living conditions.
Rural and urban economies must diversify to provide employment for underserved young people and access to information and resources.

World Corps India focuses on two major barriers to improving the livelihoods of rural and urban youth: lack of access to information and the absence of skilled professionals.

WCI provides a framework for effective introduction to the benefits government agencies, private enterprises and non-governmental institutions can bring.
